Saturday 1st Feb – Holistic Health expo type thing at Trinity Methodist Church on King Street – 10am to 4pm and there’s a $2 entry fee. Expect clairvoyants, reiki, massage, chakra and aura harmony, etc.
Sunday 2nd Feb – Community Fun Day – again at Trinity Methodist Church on King Street – 11am start – lots of stuff for kids apparently – balloon twisting, face-painting and even some archery.
Sunday 2nd Feb – A Day in the Country – Pearson Park, Oxford – 9am to 2pm – Live music, craft stalls, foodie stalls and lots of stuff for kids from bouncy castle to pony rides. Admission is free. The farmers’ market is also on in the morning so you can stock up on your fruit and veg at the same time.
Sunday 2nd Feb – Rangiora Food Swap – this is one for you all you green-fingered home growers out there. If you’ve got too much of one thing and not enough of another in your garden then get swapping. This is the second food swap this year and you have to pre-register either by email: firstname.lastname@example.org or call 03 313 2340
