It’s not often that there’s an event on in Cust, but this weekend sees the first Cust Village Winter Celebration. It’s a day that has something to suit everyone.
There’ll be market stalls, mulled apple juice and hot soup to keep you warm, face painting and a bouncy castle for the kids. You can also get a chance to see demos of some craft skill such as spinning and patchworking.
And there’s music from a live band, Ashleigh and The Classics. They do a great line in cover versions of songs from the 60s right up to pretty much the present day. Apparently they’re fab.
And for any motorbike fans there’ll be a showcase of some of the bikes from the Cust Grand Prix. A little slice of the village’s history.
So, head along for a fun day this Sunday 22nd June, 11am to 4pm at the Cust Community Centre. Entry is free.
