It’s a beautiful morning out there and it’s great weekend for bargain hunters in North Canterbury. Here’s why:
Saturday 2nd August – Cat Care Inc Garage Sale at 51B East Belt. 8am to 12 midday.
Saturday 2nd August – The Rangiora Community Market runs 8.30am to 12.30pm at 353 High St. (St John’s Anglican Church Hall). It’s a monthly market and well worth supporting. Plenty of stalls selling all sorts of everything. A few months ago we picked up a toddler sized soft Mickey Mouse in great condition for $5. It’s the best buy I’ve made in a long time, my boy loves it and it goes nearly everywhere with him. So head along and support this local market you never know what you might find.
Sunday – The Great Oxford Garage Sale Trail – A list of Oxford garage sales and a map will be available from 8.30am at each end of the town and from the market on Main Street.
On a completely different note, there’s also an event on at the A & P Showgrounds in Rangiora this weekend that deals with holistic health. There will be all sorts of things there from reiki to aromatherapy and even clairvoyants. So if you’re curious about these kind of things it’s a great chance to find out more. 10am to 4pm and it’s a $2 entry fee.
