Rangiora Community Market – Sat 29th Nov – 8.30am to 12.30pm – St John’s Church, 353 High Street – This takes place every month, but this one is going to have a Christmas theme. There are stalls selling all sorts of bits and pieces, a cafe selling cakes, slices, teas, etc. I always have a quick look if I’m passing. Sometimes you can find a good bargain.
Paddy’s Market – Sat 29th Nov – 10.30am start – Pearson Park, Oxford – This event is run by the Oxford and District Lions – It’s a sort of auction I think. Selling all sorts of stuff. Cash only on the day. Could be interesting if you’re the sort that likes to hunt down a bit of a bargain.
Mandeville Craft Fair Sun 30th Nov – 11am to 4pm Mandeville Sports Centre – This is a big event, all sorts of stalls of crafts, clothes, bags, homewares, etc. A good chance to do some Christmas shopping. They also put on live music and there’s lots of yummy things to eat. $5 entry fee. School age kids are free.
Rangiora Orientation Day – Sun 30th Nov – 10am to 2pm – Southbrook Sport Park. This is for those new to the area who are wanting to find out what sort of community groups, activities, services, etc there are around here. Might be worth going along for a look and there’s also going to be a clown to entertain the kids. Entry is free.
Brass Band Concert – Sun 30th Nov – 2pm – Victoria Park, Rangiora – A free brass band concert. Could be fun if the weather holds.
