So it’s Friday and the circus is coming to town…in fact as I write this it should already be here.  Shows start this evening and run till Sunday at the A & P Showgrounds.  The big top is heated according to the leaflet and the show includes jugglers, aerial acrobats and “colourful clowning”.  Children under 3 are free, 4-14 from $15 and adults from $20 .  For further details check out their website.  You can buy tickets on the door but note it’s cash only.  First show is tonight at 7pm.

If classical music is your thing then the Trinity Trio (violinist, cellist and pianist) are performing in the Chamber Gallery at Rangiora Library this Friday evening at 7pm.  Tickets are $20.

Saturday is market morning with the monthly Rangiora Community Market and Boot Sale at St John’s Church at the top end of High Street.  It runs from 8.30am to midday.  It’s also the Kaiapoi farmers market from 10am to 12 midday down on Charles Street.

And if you fancy a different type of market then on Sunday head along to Oxford where they’re having a monthly craft market at the Oxford town Hall from 10am to 3pm.  You could also visit the Oxford farmers market which runs every Sunday from 9 till 12.

Enjoy the weekend.
