It’s the weekend again….You can catch the Saturday morning farmers’ market down in Kaiapoi from 10am to 12 midday across the road from New World.

Over in Rangiora, there’s the Community Market and Car boot sale at St John’s Anglican church at the top of High Street.  It’s on the first Saturday of every month and runs from 8.30am to 1pm.  There’s a cafe there too for snacks and hot drinks.

In the evening there’s wine and art at the West Eyreton Hall.  Tickets are $30 and should be available on the door on the night.  You will get to taste wines from different wineries from four of NZ’s wine regions whilst also enjoying some of the art on display.  There will be art works for auction as well and wine for sale.  Sounds like a great evening all put on as a fundraiser for West Eyreton School.

Sunday sees the Great Oxford Garage Sale Trail.  This will be a treat for those that like to look for treasure amongst the junk.  At 8.30am there will be a list of garage sales and a map available at each end of Oxford township.  It’s also the farmers market on Sunday in Oxford – so it sounds like a good day to head out there.
