Tomorrow starts off well for bargain hunters, it’s the first Saturday of the month and that means the Rangiora Community Market and Car Boot Sale at the church hall corner of High Street and Church Street – 8.30am start. Also, it’s Kaiapoi Farmers Market on Saturday morning 9am to midday on Charles Street opposite New World.
Crafts are on show Sunday at the Creative Craft Community Day from 1pm to 4.30pm at 21 Tuahiwi Road. There are going to be artisan craft stalls, music foods, kids crafts stalls and some mini craft workshops for the creatively minded.
If you’re the type that is counting down the days till Christmas then head over to Cust for the Sense of Christmas event. It’s being organised as a fundraiser for the school and they’re promising a Candyland and a Reindeer Retreat as well as stalls, pony rides, Santa in his grotto and all that festive stuff. Tickets are available on the day for $20 per adult, kids free. It kicks off at 10am.
